BROOKINGS TO NORTH BROOKINGS 115KV LINE REBUILD – BROOKINGS, OR

Complete rebuild of 3.5 miles of wood pole transmission with underbuild to all steel monopole construction.  Crews installed all new poles, guying, anchors and conductor for the transmission and distribution circuits.  The line went through residential, industrial and limited access areas along the Oregon Coast.

PAR ELECTRIC FOR BONNEVILLE POWER ADMINISTRATION – BEND, OR

Celilo – Sylmar 750kv DC Line insulator change out 2015 and 2016. Key Line crews worked alongside PAR crews on large scale insulator change out.

ALSEA BAY RE-CONDUCTOR AND STRUCTURE CHANGEOUT – WALDPORT, OR

Waldport, OR.  Crews installed new steel structures on both sides of Alsea Bay, re-conductored existing conductors to 556aac and installed 2 runs of OPGW fiber on top of the structures.  All work was done on the two structures in the Alsea Bay without the assistance of a helicopter, due to the fog and unpredictable weather conditions.

LIDAR PROJECTS – MULTIPLE LOCATIONS FROM YAKIMA, WA TO CRESCENT CITY, CA

Construction services for Facility Rating Modification Project – SW wires.  Multiple 500kv – 230kv – 115kv structure replacements in various locations to bring facilities into compliance with FERC-NERC mandates.  Crews replaced entire structures, reframed structures or installed Phase Raiser systems to raise conductor height.

JEFFERSON TO STATELINE 161KV REBUILD – DUBOIS, ID

Replacement of 427 poles on Jefferson – Stateline 161kv line.  We were subcontracted the entire project through PAR Electric for Idaho Power.  We utilized our down hole hammer for the excavation of the structures, 84% of which were solid rock.  Crews used a 75T RT crane to set the structures fully framed in the flat sections, and conventional methods in the hillside sections.  Job was completed 3 weeks ahead of schedule.

PONDEROSA SUBSTATION – MADRAS, OR

Crews built a new transmission line tap, re-configured the existing connection to the Substation and added a new bay on self-supporting steel structures.  New 115kv breakers, switches, circuit switchers and CCVT’s were installed on new foundations inside the substation under the new bay.

SNOW GOOSE SUBSTATION – KLAMATH FALLS, OR

Construction services for Snow Goose Substation phase 1 and 1.5.  Civil portion of substation development of a 22 acre 500kv Substation including the installation of transformer pads, drilled pier firewalls, ground grid on phase 1.5, fence, retention ponds, all base and finish rock.  For Pacific Power.
